Gentle Glow

Want to flow like vinyasa at an easy pace? Grab a pair of blocks and a strap for supported sequences this August!

Life can feel defeated at times. It takes courage to get back up and try again. Learn how to ride the waves of it through supported poses and flows so that you are ready for your next adventure.

What you’ll do

Vinyasa
50 min | Easy

What you’ll need

  • 2 Yoga blocks, firm cushions, or books

  • Yoga strap, scarf, towel, or cloth belt

Benefits

Reduce Joint Stiffness

Vinyasa can improve the body’s range of motion. It actively increases the ability to bend and straighten joints to reduce injury and enhance mobility.

Circulate Vital Energy

By linking the breath with movement, energy is able to flow freely. Each inhale draws in nourishment while each exhale removes blockages and toxins.

Promotes Mental Clarity

As the sequence progresses from pose to pose, vinyasa fosters concentration on the mat which is a transferable practice for life off the mat.

Limitations

Do not register for class if you have one or more of the following health conditions or symptoms:

  • dizziness

  • menstrual periods

  • recent surgery

Always consult your physician before beginning any exercise program. If you receive medical clearance, inform the instructor at the start of class and practice modifications with props.
